Problem Note 20790: Data grid displays double character values as single character values in SAS® Enterprise Guide®
Certain character values might not display correctly in the data grid of
SAS Enterprise Guide. For example, this can occur when character values
are formatted as 2. instead of $2. This results in values such as 01 and
02 displaying as 0.
To circumvent the problem, format the values with the $w. format.
